THE RULE OF THE THIRDS
To take good photos, it is necessary to organise the scene and
the subjects in a coherent and balanced manner.
There are various techniques; the most common and widespread
one is known as the ‘rule of thirds’.
It consists of dividing the frame equally into three horizontal and
three vertical stripes. These, as they intersect, create lines of force
and intersections, which allow the subjects to be balanced
consistently within the photograph.
Let's look at some practical examples.
